The thermostat is tested reading Ohms, multimeter set on impedance must read low or no impedance at room temperature on thermistor contacts. The pressure switch determines among other things when to start and stop drain pump. The thermostat decides when to open and close the hot inlet, moving forward with cycle when temperature is met. If the machine does not drain even with hot water, check the thermostat and the pressure switch. If there is no hot water the cycle will not progress, and that may be related to the drain problem. If the water is cold, check the inlet hose and the hot inlet in the dual inlet valve connected to the hose.
